Vegan Delicious Chocolate Cookies - Loving It Vegan

How can baking cookies ever be quick? You usually must obtain a scale, carefully measure all the ingredients, caress the dough to ages, then cut out little cookies into heart, moon and star shapes and then wait a second century'til they are baked.

NEVER EVER could I bake biscuits under these circumstances. That's just how I roll up. But then I encounter those Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that's what I call them, anyhow.)

Ok, they don't taste just like the biscuits you get around Christmas time. Rather they are a bit more gooey and do not crumble in any respect.

However, what mostly convinced me was you could have them ready in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Possibly the most surprising thing about the biscuits is that they involve just 2 ingredients! Yep that's right, and anyone can mix two ingredients.

Though in case you want to make them even tastier and/or fitter you can pimp them up using a few add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That is Your Choice!

It sounds more and more like a sales pitch (it is not -- nobody is gont cover me if you consume them), but I must say yet another awesome thing about those cookies.

They're tasty! Yep, once I had had the first I finished the rest within an hour.

They are perfect for hiking excursions or other occasions where you want a quick energizing snack on the go. Nowadays I keep these as a fast bite in my backpack.

It also has to be noted that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the usual cookie suspects. Simply oats and bananas.

Take oats for example. Not merely do they decrease your cholesterol levels which subsequently helps you stop developing heart disease or diabetes, but in addition they energize you with great carbohydrates and nutrients to help keep you going for longer during the day.

These nutrients contain manganese, great for bone creation and skin integrity in addition to magnesium -- significant for energy production to make you feel more awake

Same with bananas -- the favourite Recommended Reading fruit one of athletes -- not just because they contain an adequate quantity of good carbohydrates but for being the huge players in the potassium game.

Potassium is a really important nutrient for avoiding tiredness and muscular cramps. Pretty good if you have a hard day ahead of you.

Since you can see, I'm a huge fan.

Here is a good illustration of if I could have done with a couple of these biscuits. Sadly, I didn't have them with me.
